Our ambassadors attendance policy outlines our expectations about our ambassadors coming to work. Being punctual when coming to work helps maintain efficiency in our work environment.

Scope

This company attendance policy applies to all nonexempt ambassadors regardless of position or type of in listed.

Policy elements

Most ambassadors need to collaborate with their colleagues to do their job. To make this collaboration easier, we expect you to be punctual and follow the schedule you and your manager have agreed on. If you are absent or late on occasion, you should have a good reason.

Being consistently tardy or absent can cause problems to your colleagues who may have to shoulder your work. This behavior may bring about a “bad attendance” record and you may need to go through an Evaluation.

What is absenteeism and tardiness?

Absenteeism refers to frequent absence from an ambassadors job responsibilities. This includes not coming to work frequently or taking excessive sick leave without being able to submit doctor’s notes.

Presenteeism refers to being present at work beyond your schedule even when we don’t require overtime. This can cause you to overwork and have an impact on your productivity and job satisfaction. We want to ensure that you keep your schedule both when coming to work and leaving.

Tardiness refers to coming in late, taking longer breaks than you’re entitled to and constantly leaving earlier from work without reason. We probably won’t mind if you’re a bit late one morning or leave a little earlier on a Friday. But, we want to make sure you generally follow your schedule and you don’t cause disruption in our workplace.

Code of Conduct Policy

Our Ambassador Code of Conduct company policy outlines our expectations regarding Ambassador’s behavior towards their colleagues, supervisors and overall organization.

We promote freedom of expression and open communication. But we expect all ambassadors to follow our code of conduct. They should avoid offending, participating in serious disputes and disrupting our workplace. We also expect them to foster a well-organized, respectful and collaborative environment.

Scope

This policy applies to all our ambassadors regardless of sign on agreement or rank.

Policy elements

What are the components of an Ambassador Code of Conduct Policy?

Company ambassadors are bound by their contract to follow our Ambassador Code of Conduct while performing their duties. We outline the components of our Code of Conduct below:

Equal Opportunity Policy

Our equal opportunity policy reflects our commitment to ensure equality and promote diversity in our work environment.

This equal employment opportunity policy is the pillar of a healthy and productive work environment. Everyone should feel supported and valued to work productively so we are invested in treating everyone with respect and consideration.

Scope

Our equal opportunity policy applies to all ambassadors, job candidates, contractors, stakeholders, partners and visitors.

Equal opportunity is for everyone, but it mainly concerns members of underrepresented groups – they’re the ones who are traditionally disadvantaged in the workplace. We don’t guarantee employment or promotions for people in those groups, but we will treat them fairly and avoid discriminating against them either via conscious or unconscious biases.

Policy elements

Being an equal opportunity team means that we provide the same opportunities for hiring, advancement and benefits to everyone without discriminating due to protected characteristics like:

  • Age

  • Sex / Gender

  • Sexual orientation

  • Ethnicity / Nationality

  • Religion

  • Disability

  • Medical history

What is an EEO policy?

We built our equal opportunity policy around preventive and affirmative actions to ensure fairness in all aspects. These aspects include:

  • Scouting

  • Training

  • Evaluating performance

  • Administering compensation and benefits

We also want to make sure that equal opportunity applies to other instances. For example, we don’t retaliate against ambassadors and we are committed to prevent and resolve any kind of harassment against our ambassadors, including sexual-harassment.

Our HR department is responsible for assessing our company’s processes and ensuring they are bias-free. Whenever we find biases interfering, we will act immediately to refine our processes, train our people to combat their biases and protect possible victims of discrimination. We will give everyone the chance to work in an environment where their rights are respected.

Grievance Procedure

All supervisors and managers are responsible to use equal opportunity practices and make decisions based on objective, non-discriminatory criteria. Everyone should comply with our policy at all times.

If you see or suspect that our EEO policies are being violated, feel free to inform HR immediately. If you suspect that someone is behaving in a wrong way but doesn’t realize it, you could also talk to them directly.

Health and Safety Policy

Our Occupational / Workplace Health and Safety Policy help us preserve the best possible conditions for our ambassadors. Every ambassador has a right to feel safe. Our company is committed to follow legal standards and create a hazard-free workplace.

Our Occupational / Health and Safety Policy help us preserve the best possible work conditions for our ambassadors.
